Yes, in the Ostheimer donkey family, I'm the stubborn donkey who prefers to do what I want. I'm not a mean-spirited fellow - often, I just want to buck because I find it funny. Ostheimer donkeys
Our donkey family includes some of the oldest Ostheimer figures. As you can see in the picture, it's a big family with many different donkey characters. This big family exists thanks to Margarete Ostheimer, who once observed a group of donkeys in Corsica as a young woman. She enjoyed the donkeys' unique character traits so much that she wanted to represent each one in an Ostheimer figure.
