Vehicles for Older Children
Playing enables children to learn more about their surrounding world. They want to discover everything around them– also the world of vehicles. Children like to reenact the things they experience in their everyday life: rolling, driving, transporting, loading things and unloading them again. The essential fundamental forms of our wooden vehicles enable the child to start re-creating the hay making, the shopping tour, or a journey with the camper - all this becomes possible through the power of imagination within the child.
In that period of their development children do not need toys with realistic details; they need the opportunity to shape things with their imagination, helping them to engage in lively play. Based on these deliberations we consciously decided to give our vehicles simple shapes.
