Alp cows like me feel at home in the high mountains and the surrounding valleys. I love to graze on the inclined pastures, ruminating with the other alp cows and looking out at the beautiful, lively landscape and the people who are hiking on the mountain trails.

Ostheimer Alp Cows
Our designer Stephan Zech's childhood memories have influenced the design of the Ostheimer Alp cows. He envisions holidays in the high mountains of Switzerland, where the beautiful brown cows with their magnificent black and white horns are encountered on the alpine pastures, their deep tinkling of bells already audible from afar. Often, a herdsman or a shepherd boy is present on the pasture… or one might even imagine Heidi herself, traveling there with the cows or goats.
