Horse for Rider
As a riding horse, I'm really proud of my pretty red bridle. Do you see it? No other Ostheimer horse has such a beautiful one. My favorite thing to do is carry my colorfully dressed, cheerful rider over hill and dale.

Our horses and ponies
The oldest Ostheimer horse is the riding horse, always accompanied by the rider. These figures were still designed by Walter Ostheimer himself. Even before he became a toy maker, Walter Ostheimer painted and illustrated fairy tale books in a very humorous style. The rider and his horse go back to his illustration of Hans in Luck.Since then, Ostheimer's horses have changed many times, but they have always remained true to the original design with its classic shape, its beautiful painting, and the faithful look of the animals.
