Right now, I'm on my way to check on the little Ostheimer sea otters. One is waiting for me to bring him a fish and the other is practicing cracking shells while swimming on his back.

Ostheimer sea otters
Stephan Zech designed our group of sea otters and brought them into the Ostheimer collection in 2013, together with the raccoons and beavers. The cheerfully moving family reflects the sociability and playfulness of these animals. When you play with the sea otters, you can feel the nimbleness and agility with which they move in the sea or on the rocks.
