Ram
I'm the handsome white ram in the flock of Ostheimer sheep. My impressive, powerful horns have earned me respect on the pasture and in the barn. When I see my flock of sheep threatened, I come running with my head down, ready to fight for them. Any other time, I'm just as peaceful as all the other Ostheimer sheep.
The Original Ostheimer figure "Ram" is manufactured purely by hand and colored with selected paints. We create our products with great care and use only certified materials. Ostheimer sheep
There is a large family of sheep from Ostheimer, consisting of ten white and brown sheep. They are some the oldest figures in our collection. In fact, the first sheep were designed even before the other farm animals as part of the Ostheimer nativity scene.
These early designs were created by Walter Ostheimer, but it was Margarete Ostheimer who gave the sheep the classic form they have today. Soon, they were joined by the shepherd and his herding dog who eventually became the logo of our company, which is based in Zell unter Aichelberg, an old Swabian shepherd village.
